This study involves comprehensive documentation of tree diversity and biomass assessment in Penang Hill to evaluate forest productivity and ecosystem services. Long-term monitoring plots support ongoing research in ecology, phenology, and climate change within the Biosphere Reserve. The project also fosters capacity-building through field-based learning opportunities for local forestry and botanical staff, enhancing botanical research and conservation efforts in the region.
