Insights from this research support conservation and deepen understanding of tarantula ecology and distribution across various habitats.

Muhammad Irham Bin Abdul Razak is an arachnologist with a Master’s degree in Zoology from University Malaysia Terengganu. He also works as a field researcher with Wildlife Conservation Society Malaysia, monitoring Malayan tiger populations in Endau Rompin National Park. With a long-standing passion for tarantulas, Irham focuses on studying their distribution, habitat preference, and behaviour in Peninsular Malaysia to enhance understanding of these understudied species and support their conservation.
