This project builds ocean literacy among Malaysian youth through hands-on learning in coastal schools. It aims to foster scientific curiosity, strengthen environmental awareness, and empower students to engage in sustainable ocean practices.
The grantee will develop hands on marine education modules for primary school students, that cover topcis from satelite images, microscopy, to marine plastic pollutions. The participating schools will automatically be part of the Global Blue School Network by the UNESCO-IOC (Intergovernmental Oceanographic Commission)
