Environment and Ecosystem-Based Disaster Risk Reduction (Eco-DRR) through Nature-Based Solutions (NbS) in Hulu Langat
This project integrates nature-based approaches to reduce disaster risks, improve environmental quality, and enhance local resilience. It fosters active community participation to transform urban areas into vibrant, ecologically functional spaces and serves as a replicable model for urban greening in Greater Kuala Lumpur.
Mohd Hafiz Bin Mohd Amirrol is the Deputy Executive Director of MERCY Malaysia with over 17 years of experience in humanitarian and development work. He has served in diverse roles across disaster and conflict zones and provided consultancy to organisations such as the United Nations, JICA, NADMA, and APEC. Driven by compassion and dedication, Hafiz focuses on fostering resilience and improving lives in challenging environments.
