This project supports community-based ecotourism at the Taralamas River Canyon in Ranau, Sabah. A biodiversity assessment led by expert naturalists and Universiti Malaysia Sabah documents the unique flora and fauna of Kg. Tiang Lama’s forest, highlighting rare and endemic species. The findings are used to strengthen nature interpretation, develop ecotourism products, and provide training for local guides—enhancing the visitor experience while deepening conservation awareness.
